The purpose of this web application is to systematically store, manage, and display data from geotechnical investigations, including mapped soil locations and evaluation rubrics in Kapangan, Benguet. The database serves as a decision-support tool for engineers, planners, and researchers by providing reliable subsurface data required for site assessment, foundation design, and infrastructure planning. By digitizing and centralizing geotechnical datasets, the platform contributes to improving the efficiency and accuracy of engineering practices. The dynamic and interactive interface of the platform enables real-time access to geotechnical data. It facilitates effective data retrieval and enhances the availability of soil profiles, soil parameters, and borehole log data.
The database is designed to be a tool for storing and collecting geotechnical data to supplement other soil properties; it is not intended to replace on-site soil exploration and testing.
